Everything you teach from, in one library

Your PDFs, slides, images, audio and video, next to the guides, decks and boards you've built. Folders you name yourself, a safety net under anything you delete, and one library you'll still be using in years to come.

Your own files live here too

The library isn't just for things you made in Class Spot. Uploads get their own shelf, called Cloud. The textbook PDF, the listening track, the photo of the worksheet you scribbled on at the weekend.

  • PDFs and slide decks arrive as pages. Upload one and it comes back page by page, ready to drop onto a board.
  • Upload once, use anywhere. A file on the Cloud shelf drops into a Study Guide or onto a board without being uploaded again.
  • On Business the library belongs to the school. A teacher joins in October and the shelves are already full.

Folders you name yourself

Make a folder for a course, a level or one student, and put anything you like in it. Reorder them, rename them as your teaching changes, and switch between big covers and a plain list depending on whether you're browsing or you already know what you want.

  • Mixed folders. A Study Guide, a PDF and a board sit in the same folder. Sort a shelf by name, by type or by what you touched last.
  • Covers you choose. Guides, boards and decks take a cover image, so a shelf of 60 guides isn't 60 identical rectangles.
  • Duplicate and adapt. Copy last year's guide, change the dates and the names, and the original stays where it was.
  • Folders start on Solo Pro. The Free plan keeps everything on one flat shelf.

You get 30 days to change your mind

Delete a Study Guide, a board or a file and it lands in the archive first. For the next 30 days you can pull it back exactly as it was, so a Friday evening tidy-up isn't a decision you have to be certain about. Deleting for good is a second, separate step, taken from inside the archive.

  • Restoring takes a click. It comes back as itself, with its exercises and its media intact.
  • Or empty it when you mean it. Clear the whole archive in one go, or delete a single thing forever.
  • Getting things back starts with Solo Pro. Deleting works on any plan; opening the archive to undo it needs a paid one.

Room that grows with the plan

The sidebar shows what you've used and what's left, and a statistics view breaks it down when a term of recordings starts to add up. What you get: 500 MB on Free, 5 GB on Solo Pro, 15 GB on Solo Max, 100 GB for a school.

  • Recordings count towards the same space. One number covers everything you keep, so nothing creeps up on you.
  • Bigger files on bigger plans. 5 MB per upload on Free, 25 MB on Solo Pro, 50 MB above that.
  • Or buy more room. Storage comes in 5 GB blocks at $2 a month, on any paid plan.

Your materials are files you own

Study Guides and Flash Cards are saved in one open file format. A material is a file. You can copy it, keep it, hand it to a colleague.

  • Export and import as files. Back up the library, move it between accounts, take it with you whenever you want.
  • Share with a colleague. Send a guide as a file and it opens in their library, ready to teach.
  • The format is open and documented. Nothing proprietary sits between you and your own work.
