Your money never passes through us
We are not a payment processor and we take no commission. We track balances and invoices; the money goes straight between you and your students. Your subscription is billed via Stripe, and card details never touch our servers.
Students join with minimal data
A student attends lessons by link. No account, no profile, no password. A light sign-up is needed only for messages and homework, and it asks for the minimum it can.
An EU company, EU data
Class Spot is built by Winssen Holdings Limited, an EU company registered in Cyprus, so GDPR is our home jurisdiction rather than an add-on. Lesson recordings are stored in the EU, in Frankfurt.
Recordings under your control
You decide whether a lesson is recorded and who sees each recording: the student, the parent, or only you.
Tab sharing is peer-to-peer
With Shared Tab Control, the tab and your student's clicks travel straight between you. We don't record it and we don't keep a copy.
Your data is yours to take
Students, balances, materials, history: export any of it at any time. Guides, cards and boards use an open, published file format, so your materials are files you can take anywhere.
Our revenue is subscriptions. Not ads, not commissions, not your data. When you pay a flat monthly fee, the incentive is simple: the product has to be worth it.

Whether we can sign a data-processing agreement
Yes. Class Spot is run by Winssen Holdings Limited, an EU company registered in Cyprus, and we sign data-processing agreements with schools and agencies. Send your paperwork to info@classpot.com, tell us which clauses you need looked at, and we'll go through them with you.
What data we hold about a student
As little as your use of the platform requires. A student who joins by link has no account, no profile and no password. Create a student profile and it holds what you type in: name, contact, lesson history, homework results, balance. Messages and homework need the student to sign up.
Who processes payments, and whether we see card details
Stripe bills your subscription, and card details never reach our servers. What your students pay you doesn't involve us at all. We are not a payment processor and we take no commission, so that money never enters the platform. Only the record of it does.
Who can watch a lesson recording
You decide, recording by recording. A lesson is only recorded if you choose to record it, and you say who can see it: the student, the parent, or nobody but you. Recordings are stored in the EU, in Frankfurt. Shared Tab Control is separate and is never recorded.
How parental consent works
The adult owns the account, by design. For a child too young to consent for themselves, a parent registers and creates the profiles for their children, so consent and billing sit with the parent rather than with a policy we ask you to trust.
Why progress and invoices need a sign-in
Because a link that shows a child's progress to whoever holds it isn't a feature. Joining a lesson needs only a link. Anything with information in it — progress, reports, invoices and balances — needs a sign-in on the web or in the app.
How to get your data out, or have it deleted
Export it whenever you like: students, balances, materials and history. Study Guides, Flash Cards and Boards use an open, published file format, so your materials are files you can take anywhere. To delete an account and its data, write to info@classpot.com and we'll confirm what goes and when.
